Rail Runner Station Patch - Belen Quantity in Basket: None
Collectible Belen Station 3 1/2" embroidered patch. The icon for this station is a reminder of how important the old Harvey House was to Belen back at the turn of the last century. At 15, an Englishman named Fred Harvey came to America and spent most of his life building clean elegant restaurants that served good food to the traveling public throughout the Southwest. Harvey Houses also brought civilization, community, and industry to the Wild West. Belen’s Harvey House, built in 1901, now contains a museum displaying old railroad items, as well as lamps, dishes, and menus from the Harvey House heydays. First in a series of collectible pins and patches displaying the icons of each Rail Runner train station.
